STAFF

Kenneth Bernstein   Technical Director   Ken holds a BA in Technical Theatre from the University of Missouri Kansas City. His theatrical trails have taken him across the country from NY to Alaska with stops in Ohio,Missouri, Massachusetts,Oregon, North Carolina and Virginia. Ken has held positions with some of the most prestigious regional Theatres including Missouri Repertory Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Great Lakes Shakespeare and Dallas Theatre Center as well as managing several corporate shops. Ken has been the TD at Undermain since 2011.

Blair Crane   Development Director   Blair joined the Undermain in March of 2019. She holds a BFA in Theater Production from Southwestern University and found her love of theater there. She began her career as an Equity Stage Manager in and around theaters in Philadelphia, including Bristol Riverside Theatre and Media Theatre. She spent her summers as PSM of the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival in the cornfields surrounding Desales University. Retiring from stage management in 2009, she began her work in arts administration and development. She worked for McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ before moving back to Texas. In Dallas, Blair has worked in the development departments of Dallas Theater Center and the Dallas Museum of Art.

Blair Crane Development Director

Blair joined the Undermain in March of 2019. She holds a BFA in Theater Production from Southwestern University and found her love of theater there. She began her career as an Equity Stage Manager in and around theaters in Philadelphia, including Bristol Riverside Theatre and Media Theatre. She spent her summers as PSM of the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival in the cornfields surrounding Desales University. Danielle Georgiou   Associate Artistic Director   Danielle joined the Undermain as Choreographer in August 2017 and has had the opportunity to both perform and direct at the theatre in previous years. She assumed her new role as Associate Artistic Director in September 2019. Her choreography has been seen professionally in the DFW metroplex at Kitchen Dog Theater, Circle Theatre, Stage West, and Theatre Three, and with Ballet Dallas (formerly Contemporary Ballet Dallas) and American Neoclassical Ballet (formerly Dallas Neoclassical Ballet). She is an educator, holding teaching positions at Eastfield College and Southern Methodist University, and a writer, contributing a column addressing issues in contemporary dance for TheaterJones.    Danielle holds a Ph.D. in Humanities-Aesthetic Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas, and earned her Master’s in Political Science and has a Bachelor of Business of Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of Dallas’ premiere dance theatre company, the Danielle Georgiou Dance Group.

Parker Gray   Operations Manager   Parker Gray started his position as Operations Manager in July 2017. He holds a BFA in Theatre from Southern Methodist University, where he graduated Cum Laude.  Parker is primarily an actor, and has been seen professionally around the DFW metroplex with Undermain Theatre, Kitchen Dog Theater, Stage West, Watertower Theatre , Shakespeare Dallas and Shakespeare in the Bar. His voice can be heard on several shows with FUNimation, including  One Piece, The Silver Guardian,  and  Convenience Store Boyfriends.

Parker Gray Operations Manager

Parker Gray started his position as Operations Manager in July 2017. He holds a BFA in Theatre from Southern Methodist University, where he graduated Cum Laude.

Patricia Hackler   General Manager   Patricia Hackler joined the organization in late 2014. She has over twenty years of senior level management experience in both governmental and non-profit organizations in Texas and New York State. She has been responsible for and has experience in relationship building, service delivery, organizational change, strategic planning and fiscal development and management of multimillion-dollar budgets. She has worked with community boards as well as the organization’s boards.  Patricia holds Master Degrees in both Professional Counseling and Social Work.

Her theater experience, buried deep underneath her educator years, includes house management and stage management experience for theaters in the Kansas City area. Theresa Webster   Marketing Manager   Theresa joined the Undermain in January of 2015. She has a BFA in Theatre and English Literature from the University of Connecticut. She started her career in New York City where she worked at Actors’ Equity Association as an assistant Business Representative while she acted in industrials and danced at the Broadway Dance Center. She then made the switch to copywriter/copy editor at Quigley Publishing where she worked on the Motion Picture and Television and Video Almanacs. After moving to Dallas, she continued copywriting and copy editing with Neiman Marcus and Gemmy Industries. At Gemmy, she broadened her experience by taking on the job of music producer for the animated toys they created, including the infamous “Big Mouth Billy Bass.” Somewhat of a homecoming, Theresa is thrilled to be back in theatre as the Marketing Manager for the Undermain.
