What is typical attire for audiences at Undermain?
Most visitors to Undermain dress in casual or business casual clothing.
Can I reserve my seats?
Undermain Theatre reserves all seats in the order of when they were reserved, following the accommodations of patrons that have special needs or requests. Please notify us if you would like to be seated with another guest who has purchased seats separately. If you require accessible seating or parking, please call ahead or leave a note in the comment section of your order and we will set aside seating for you and your party. How does will call work at Undermain?
Undermain does not mail physical tickets. Tickets are only available at will call. When you arrive, simply give us your name at the box office.
Can I pay for my tickets when I get there?
We ask that all reserved tickets be paid for over the phone or online. Your credit card will be charged on the day of purchase. We do not keep credit card information on file from past transactions. All credit card information is destroyed for your safety. If you have not made reservations, you may pay for your tickets at the door with card, cash or check as long as tickets are available.
Do you accept credit card at the wine bar and concessions area?
We accept both credit card and cash at the concessions area.
Your show is sold out. Can I still come?
Undermain has a phone call waiting list for sold out shows. If you would like to get on the phone call waiting list, please call the box office and if there is a cancellation or opening, we will call you back prior to 5pm on the day of the show or 12pm on the day of matinee performances. If we have not called you by 5pm or 12 pm on the day of matinee performances, you must come to Undermain in order to join our physical waiting list. The phone call waiting list does not roll over to the physical waiting list. All waiting lists are first come first serve. Visitors on the waiting list are asked to stay in the lobby until about five minutes before curtain in order to secure a seat.
Does Undermain have parking nearby?
Free covered parking is available on the South East corner of Trunk and Commerce at 3300 Commerce St. Undermain signs will help direct you to appropriate parking. Legal street parking around the theatre is available free of charge as well. If you have any questions about parking, please call our box office at 214-747-5515.
What discounts do you offer for students, seniors or KERA members?
We offer a $5 discount to students, seniors and KERA members. Students must be able to show their student ID at the box office in order to receive the discount. There is also a special student rate of $10 for all preview and matinee performances. Senior discounts are offered to visitors age 65 and up.
Is Undermain wheelchair accessible?
Undermain is accessible via ramp and elevator. If you require accessible seating, please inform the box office of your needs when you make your reservation or prior to your arrival. We do offer handicap parking close to our ramp entrance. If you need the parking close to this ramp or would like to use the ramp, please ask our parking attendant for assistance or call ahead so that we may direct you to our ramp entrance.
Can I take my drink into the show with me?
Audience members are free to bring any food and beverage that they purchase at concessions to their seats. After the show, we will take your empty glasses at the door.
