Winner of the 1957 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for Best Play. This classic is being produced in Dallas for the first time in over two decades. It is what many consider to be the greatest play of the 20th Century and a centerpiece of modern drama. Nobel Prize winning Eugene O’Neill’s monumental play depicts a theatrical family jolted by destiny and touched by fate at their summer home in Connecticut on one August day in 1912 from morning to midnight. Addiction and a clash of young and old are some of the overriding themes in this autobiographical play.
